he was dead, he knew he was dead, he remembered Riff-Raff shooting him, and then he was watching as Rocky carried him away, and was himself shot, and they fell into the pooland then he was there, in the water, and there was something wrapped around his wrist that was not Rocky at all, but felt more like a tentacle, and then he was at the edge of the water and it was not the pool, but some sort of lake. He is outside.
The castle is nowhere to be seen, although perhaps if he were facing in the other direction he would see a different one. However, there is a building nearby, filled with light and laughter.
He walks towards it.
